c) Solar Array Film – A breakthrough nanotechnology patented solar array film delivers up to 30% first-generation solar cell efficiency to power the AirShip V2’s ultra-capacitors for long-flight endurance. Our solar efficiency rate dramatically beats current industry efficiency of 18% to 20%. Forward looking infrared (FLIR). AirShip V2 is equipped with cameras that use an imaging technology that senses infrared radiation. Sensors installed in its forward looking infrared camera and its thermal imaging camera, use detection of infrared radiation typically emitted from a heat source to create the "picture" assembled for the video output. Video images can be identified at night and in fog by detecting warm objects against a cooler background.
