AirShip VTOL UAV Ground 4-Wheel Drive Configuraton
Ground transit is accomplished by electric motors mounted in the wheels at each of the three by four configured wheel assemblies. This wheel hub motor combination is an electric motor that is incorporated into a hub of the aircraft?s ground wheels and using drive-by-wire controls, allows the operator to drive the air/vehicle in a three or four wheel configuration for ground transit.
